Our Framework

The Living
Constitution

Three permanent structural Guardians keep IGP true to its values — legally, operationally, and culturally — in perpetuity.

Why Guardians?

Structures That Hold Values Accountable

Most organisations drift from their founding values as they grow. Funding pressures, personality dynamics, and the inertia of bureaucracy gradually erode the original vision. IGP has built in three structural Guardians specifically to prevent this drift.

These are not aspirational statements or policy preferences. They are the structural commitments that ensure IGP remains true to its motto — Prosperity and Harmony through Art and Nature (PHAN) — and its goal of creating harmony with the inner self and harmony with the outer world. No individual, no donor, no board majority can override them.

Guardian One

Jeevit Sewa — Living Service

Our founding documents legally mandate that 100% of all public-facing funds are directed exclusively toward living biological entities — humans, animals, and plants. This is a permanent firewall against spending on monuments, memorials, or dead structures. Every rupee serves life.

No spending on monuments or memorials100% directed to living beingsLegal resource redirection mandate — permanentApplies to all public funds regardless of source

Every rupee we receive serves a living being. No exceptions, no negotiations, no loopholes.

Guardian Two

Round Table — Sociocratic Governance

IGP operates through Self-Governing Circles with a "No Leader / No Follower" mandate. Decisions move by Consent — a proposal proceeds only when no member holds a principled objection rooted in our core values. No single person holds veto power. Power is circular, not hierarchical.

We have governed without a single leader since our founding. The organisation belongs to its principles, not its people.

Guardian Three

Scientific Compass — Reality Audit

A permanent Reality Audit committee ensures every workshop, performance, and campaign is grounded in verified science. This prevents IGP from drifting into the belief-based patterns we seek to evolve society beyond. We hold art and science in equal esteem — neither dominates.

We use art to reach people, and science to ensure we are telling them the truth.
