Who We Are

A Behavioural Evolution Hub

As the most cognitively advanced species on Earth, we carry an extraordinary responsibility — not just to ourselves, but to every plant, animal, ecosystem, and culture that depends on this planet. International Green Peace exists to activate that responsibility through creative, psychological, and ecological practice.

We believe harmony with the natural world begins with harmony within. By harnessing Theatre, Psychology, and direct Environmental engagement, we create the conditions for people to discover their role as responsible Earth Citizens — accountable to all living beings.

Three Pillars

The Creative Engines of Change

Plants, society, culture, and nature are inseparably entangled. Each pillar approaches this entanglement through a different but complementary lens.

🎭
Pillar One

Theatre

Theatre creates safe, powerful spaces for communities to feel and rehearse change. Through Forum Theatre, street performance, and Playback, we help people embody ecological responsibility rather than merely understand it.

  • Forum Theatre on environmental rights
  • Street plays in public ecological hotspots
  • Playback Theatre for community trauma
  • School drama on nature and interdependence
  • Legislative Theatre for policy change
🧠
Pillar Two

Psychology

Eco-anxiety, climate grief, and disconnection from nature are real psychological conditions. IGP's Psychology pillar addresses the inner life of ecological responsibility — cultivating resilient, compassionate, motivated minds.

  • Eco-anxiety counselling & support circles
  • Nature-based therapy in urban green spaces
  • Resilience-building & climate grief facilitation
  • Mindful ecology — presence in the natural world
  • Psychological first aid for ecological distress
🌿
Pillar Three

Environment

Plants, animals, soil, water, and air are not resources — they are co-inhabitants. IGP's Environment pillar creates direct, embodied relationships between people and the living world through art, science, and community action.

  • Eco-art installations using natural materials
  • Community gardens & urban greening projects
  • Species awareness — knowing the lives around us
  • Cultural ecology — traditional ecological knowledge
  • Environmental storytelling through murals & music

Our Belief

Harmony Within. Harmony Without.

Our motto — Prosperity and Harmony through Art and Nature — expresses a profound truth: the harmony we seek in the world outside begins with the harmony we cultivate inside ourselves. IGP works at both levels simultaneously.

Inner harmony — the capacity to know yourself, regulate your emotions, and act from your deepest values — is inseparable from outer harmony: a society that functions justly, an environment that thrives. Theatre heals and expands the inner world. Psychology makes it conscious and resilient. Environment reconnects us to the living world we belong to.

🧘

Harmony with the Inner Self

Knowing oneself. Regulating one's emotions. Acting from one's deepest values. Theatre and Psychology are the pathways to this inner harmony.

🌍

Harmony with the Outer World

Living in right relationship with nature, society, and all living beings. Environment and community practice are the pathways to this outer harmony.
